Just as a question (because I can't design things for shit), but would it be possible to have an open thread where people could submit their designs for new headers that we could vote on and rotate between? Because I know we have a lot of great artists on here, and I think it would be a cool idea.

That idea was thrown around actually. ArchDuke came up with this and beat everyone to the punch; we liked it so it went up.

I don't think we want to change up the logo too often but the next time its due for a change I think submissions will be a good way to do it.
